1. Introduction to Monel alloy
Monel alloy is the earliest and most widely used nickel-based alloy. The corrosion resistance of Monel is similar to that of nickel and copper. Resistance to non-oxidizing acids, especially hydrofluoric acid, is very good. It also has excellent corrosion resistance to hot concentrated alkali liquid.
Nickel-copper alloys have excellent mechanical, processing, and high-temperature resistance properties. Various varieties are commonly used in chemical, food, power, seawater, and other industries. Such as caustic soda evaporator, brine equipment, seawater pump, centrifuge, etc.

2.2Monel M400 alloy
The structure of Monel M400 alloy is a high-strength single-phase solid solution. It is a corrosion-resistant alloy with the largest dosage, the most widely used, and excellent comprehensive properties. Monel M400 alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas media and also has excellent corrosion resistance against hot concentrated alkali liquid.
Acid medium: Monel M400 is corrosion-resistant in sulfuric acid with a concentration of less than 85%. Monel M400 is one of the few important materials that can withstand hydrofluoric acid.
Water corrosion: Monel M400 alloy not only has excellent corrosion resistance under most water corrosion conditions, but also pitting corrosion, stress corrosion, etc. are rarely found, and the corrosion rate is less than 0.025mm/a.
High-temperature corrosion: The maximum temperature of Monel M400's continuous operation in air is generally around 600°C. In high-temperature steam, the corrosion rate is less than 0.026mm/a.
2.3 Monel K500 alloy
In addition to excellent mechanical properties such as high strength, corrosion resistance, and non-magnetism, Monel K500 alloy also has the same corrosion resistance as Monel M400. It can be used as a pump shaft material and is suitable for working in harsh geological mining conditions of high-sulfur and high-wax oil layers. Monel K500 alloy is mainly used for pump shafts and valve stems, conveyor scrapers, oil well drill rings, elastic parts, valve gaskets, etc. Suitable for petroleum, chemical industry, shipbuilding, pharmaceutical, and electronic sectors.
