Monel 400 alloy round rod bar has excellent resistance to neutral salts and alkaline salts.
Monel 400 alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas media, and is one of the few materials that can come into contact with nitrogen, hydrofluoric acid and hydrogen fluoride or their compounds.
Monel 400 alloy does not perform well in highly oxidizing acids such as nitric acid or nitrous acid. In this environment, high chromium stainless steel should be considered.
